Google Nexus one via Vodaphone

Google launched Nexus one, the android powered mobile phone a while ago and they were trying to sell it through their own channel that is google checkout. Now as they are seeing not good acceptation from the mobile phone buyers they are going to sell Nexus one through Vodaphone stores in UK.
People do not want to buy a device that they haven’t tested and played in advance. May be this step from google can boost up Nexus One sail.

Opera Mini 4.2 for Android – final version released
The folks at opera mini have released the final vesion of operamini 4.2 for android based phones.
Opera Mini 4.2 final for Android is now available in Android Market.
What is new in this version:
- Now you can upload and download files through Opera Mini and save pages for offline viewing
- Videos will be redirected to the system’s video player
- Double tap now works for zooming in and out
- Inline URL entry instead of using native input
- Fixed password text entry to hide characters
- Fixed problems with exiting application when back button was pressed
- Improved trackball speed
- All internal pages, like the start page, now have font size extra large for easier navigation.
