Debranding Nokia BB5 Handsets

Debranding – Some Nokia Handsets are locked to service providers like AT&T, Orange, 3 mobile, vodafone etc. These handsets come with their customized firmware and you can’t install any other sim card.
So by changing the firmware to common models any sim card can be used with those sets.
Note:If you handset is “Service Provider” Locked or “Network Locked”, then only debranding won’t help, scroll down to view unlocking procedure.
To debrand you need to change the product code.
